Luis Morales was born in Brooklyn, New York. USA
He grew up in Sunset Park-Brooklyn and then his parents moved to Williamsburg-Brooklyn when he was in his teens.
His mother is from Cabo Rojo-Puerto Rico and his Dad is from Vieques-Puerto Rico. His parents met in New York City where they raised 4 boys and a girl.
Luis worked in the Jewelry business when he lived in New York City for top designers.
He loves to wear chains and bracelets in social scenes and got tired of the same old styles available. He noticed that there were not enough affordable modern men jewelry options available. He decided to supply the demand for men jewelry that is versatile, unique, and modern.
In 2015, Luis Morales a single dad, living in Tampa Florida, decided to begin his own line of men jewelry and called it "Papiichulo"
In Spanish "Papi Chulo" means a handsome man. Papiichulo’s culture is "Pride and Confidence" A representation of a modern handsome man who is proud of his faith, country, family and his unique style. A man that is confident that nobody can be exactly like him and appreciates taking good care of his appearance.
The reason why Papiichulo has two ii's is because Luis Morales lived in New York City and worked near the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001. He wanted to honor and pay his respect to all of our American brothers and sisters that we lost on that day.
His goal is to start an entire line of men accessories and he's not going to stop...
